Is Kit and Ace owned by Lululemon?

Lululemon does not own Kit and Ace.

The brand was initially founded by Shannon Wilson, the wife of Lululemon’s founder Chip Wilson, and their son J.J. Wilson. However, in July 2023, Kit and Ace were acquired by Unity Brands Inc., co-owned by Joe Mimran, David Lui, and Frank Rocchetti.

David Lui is currently the CEO of Kit and Ace.

Under this new ownership, Kit and Ace is set to expand through brand campaigns, product development, and increased resource investment. The company’s headquarters are in Vancouver, and its product design and development department is in Toronto.

This change in ownership marks a significant shift in the company’s direction from its original connection to the founders of Lululemon.
